After back to back sub par pitching performance from the starters and bullpen, the Braves are now faced with a four game deficit to the Colorado Rockies. Looking at the rest of the season schedule the Rockies seem to have a much easier road ahead. The Rockies have the remaining schedule of: Arizona (6), Cincinnati (4), San Diego (6), San Francisco (3), Milwaukee (2), St. Louis (3) Los Angeles (3) . Also the Rockies have 15 of their last 24 games at home, including 9 of the final 12. The Braves, however, face Cincinnati (3), Houston (3), St. Louis (3), New York (6), Philadelphia (3), Washington (7), and Florida (3). The Braves have 16 remaining home games of their last 28 games at home. Because the Braves have struggled with the N.L. East lately and with 19 games remaining against their own division, the Braves must turn their fortunes around now when playing under .500 teams and the N.L. East. The Braves must sweep the Nationals, and the Reds and then win almost all of the other series to catch the Rockies.
